Rough Weekend

ellcrys70Well, it was a tiring, rough weekend. Went out too long and too much. Friday until 4:00am, then went out Saturday to take my mom car shopping and to go out to Shelley's for Abby's birthday. I figured since Wayne won't go, I would and take some pictures etc. It was fun but then I had told Gwen that we'd go out Saturday night for her last weekend before she has to go back to Ft. Saskatchewan. It was fun.
I also have Mom's old car now, just have to insure and register it. So, I'm really grateful and happy for that, but still need to get some coin together to insure and register it.
Start my job tomorrow, really looking forward to that. I slept way too much today. Many hours of sleep.
I'm a liittle confused too. I was dancing with Shane Toker last night at the bar, he's pretty cool, and I was actually considering making a move his direction before the Wayne thing happened again, but I don't know. We had a few dances then we did the slow dances too. It was really nice. Of course, I was looking out of my one eye because it would be typical of Wayne to show up at a moment like that and cause a bloodbath, but he didn't. Shane asked me if I was single, and I did the pause thing.
He said, "Just tell me the truth, Nikki, don't think about it."
So I explained the whole situation to him and said, "So, am I single or not?"
He said, "Single. But that's just my opinion. It's up to you."
And thankfully, someone walked up and the conversation switched, because I really didn't know what to answer. Wayne's been silent for over a month now. I mean, I know I'm a martyr to these kind of causes but how much am I expected to take? I mean really. Oh, well, Shane's a Toker, those boys very seldom settle down, look at Shandy and Shawn. Shawn didn't settle down until he was in his mid-30's and Shandy is still in the 'screw anything and everything' phase. Shane is in the middle I think. He said he's been single for over a year and a half. I said, "And you enjoy it, right?" and he agreed so there you go.
Oh, well, nice memory anyways. "With or Without You" and "Pictures" being held tight and having his head rest on the top of mine. (He's pretty tall, I think he probaby hurt his neck doing it. And I was wearing my big talll KISS boots too.)
