May job stress...
May. 9th, 2006 09:32 pmSo here we are, another year passes and I'm on the chopping block again. Well, figuratively speaking, it's actually my job that's on the block. 5 positions available and more people than that applying. I hate this time of year. I need one more year for seniority. One more.
Slovy(the teacher who runs spec.ed.) says, "I told you, I asked for YOU. Don't worry about it."
The vice-principal in charge of support staff says, "We're going to try to keep you."
The other vice-principal says, "I'll have my people talk to their people, don't worry."
But, you worry nonetheless.
Or I do.
My job is stressful and I'm tired, especially at this time of year. But it's my job and I can't imagine doing anything else now. Oh, well, applications start tomorrow and then the waiting game begins.
Keep your fingers crossed.
And am I poor right now!!! My grandmother had to put gas in my car because my son was worried we were going to run out and was stressing about it at her house. I need to budget better at the beginning of the month I think. The 15th is a long time to wait sometimes.
