dionneshea gave me these:
1. Queer as Folk: Well, what can I say...hot on my newfound love, Brokeback Mountain, my friend Kimi says to me, "You should watch Queer as Folk, it's all about gay people, you'd love it." My sister had seen some of the UK version too, and so, late as usual, I discovered QAF. And fell head over heels in love with Brian Kinney. And despised Justin just as much as I loved Brian. I bought all the seasons on DVD, costing me a small fortune, but I've never regretted it. Then I discovered the fanfic comms and well....here we are. I think I love QAF because it was a totally different world than the one I live in (small redneck city in Alberta) but it's also given me a totally different outlook on our world in general. I now have many gay friends, and I really enjoy hanging out with them and having a part of my life that is fascinating and unlike anything else I've ever known. And let's be honest....seeing Gale Harold naked? Not EVER a bad thing....LOL

2. Hamburger Mary's:a lovely little diner on Davie Street in Vancouver. It was my version of the diner on QAF. I ate there soooo much when I was in Vancouver, many times by myself, just enjoying the atmosphere, the food and....well, more of the food. It's awesome! It has an indoor part and a patio too that you can watch everyone walk by Davie on. It was very fun during Pride because only in Vancouver will a guy in his tight undies go running by with a rainbow flag yelling, "Happy Pride!" and no one even bats an eye. LOL

3. Christian Bale: I LOVE Christian Bale. I love the way he acts, the way he talks and even the way he rants. LOL I loved him in Empire of the Sun, he scared the hell out of me in American Psycho, loved him again in Equilibrium, the Machinist, the Prestige, Rescue Dawn and 3:10 to Yuma. Of course I love him as Batman too, but I don't consider Batman to be any stretch of his acting abilities. He's very good in the dark, crazy roles...and that way he gets into them I find very sexy. I use Bale as an avatar for most of my RPG's, and am so looking forward to Terminator and Public Enemies. I think he'll get an Oscar one day, I think he's THAT good.

4. Sausage Rolls:
dionneshea and I have a little...tradition. At Christmas, when she comes home, we spend one of our nights eating utter crap and watching movies. I enjoy mini sausage rolls from M&M Meatshops, and so we usually manage to wade through a box of them. It's not the only thing we eat either. Let's just say by the end of the night we're usually not feeling that well, and we've probably gained a couple pounds. LOL
5. Bad 70s Animation (Rocket Robin Hood, Hercules, etc.) : LOL. I'm old, in case any of you were wondering...so when I was young I watched a lot of bad cartoons. Kind of cheesy ones, and the animation was...well...embarassing to watch now in this age of CGI. Anyhow. Rocket Robin Hood(Come gather around me. Space travelers surround me. Hark now to the ballad of Rocket Robin Hood), Spiderman (does whatever a spider can...), Hercules (hero of song and story....Hercules, winner of ancient glory...fighting for the right, fighting with his might, with the strength of ten, ordinary men....) Hee hee, click on the names for some amusement. Trust me, when it was all you knew, it was very entertaining.
dionneshea is 7 years younger than me so she got some higher quality stuff...
