ellcrys70I've had a good day.
It began this morning at 4:30am, when I woke up to get ready to go work at my second job, which most of you know is Starbuck's. We open at 6 so I needed to be there at 5:30am, hence the early rise. I listened to my new Radiohead CD as I was getting ready. I really like the song, Videotape. It's good. So is the Sixx AM song, Life is Beautiful, listened to that a lot today too.
I had a good opening shift with my boss, Dave. He's a good guy and we had fun. Then after I got off at 10:30, I went straight to the gym, which was funny because I had a Tazo Chai Latte on the way, and I'm not a caffeine person, so I was a little goofy when I got there. I started working out and waited for my friend Gukes to get there. While I was on the elliptical cross-trainer a guy that we sometimes talk to came over and started chatting with me. We've never actually been introduced so he introduced himself and we had a nice little, slightly fast-paced and jittery, talk.
He's probably the antithesis to any guy I would find interesting. He's the epitome of 90lb. weakling and is constantly smiling. Nevertheless, he's always very nice and friendly. And there's something about him that makes him fun to talk to. ANYHOW, talked to him a few times during our 2 hour workout.
Then Gukes and I went to Lighthouse for sushi.
By that time it was 2 in the afternoon and I was starting to hit a wall. So I went home. Then I discovered the movie I wanted to see tonight plays at 4 in the afternoon or 10 at night. Well, there was no way in hell I was making it to 10 so I called my best friend Shanna and we agreed to see the 4 pm. one then go for supper afterwards.
SWEENEY TODD rocks! That's all I got to say about THAT!!!
Then we went to Streatside Eatery for supper and I had an extremely chocolatey piece of chocolate cream pie for dessert and Shanna gave me the news that we got tickets for LENNY KRAVITZ in March in Calgary. YAY!!!
We came home and I took a nice, hot bath while readingbuckeye5 's new chapter.
So my day basically consisted of BLOOD, BDSM, CHOCOLATE, SUSHI and GOOD MUSIC!!! It's been a good day. I'm off to bed soon just because I'm sleepy and I've been up for a long time, but I am very satisfied with my day. I hope everyone else's was as good.
