Got this from my sis,
dionneshea, who got it from
leobrat.
1. My Name is Alex/ Family Ties: Alex's friend is killed because of Alex's selfishness. Michael J. Fox outdoes himself. Especially when he's screaming, "Why am I alive, why am I alive?!"
2. Two Cathedrals/ The West Wing: From Jed yelling in the church, to the end with "Brothers in Arms" playing in the background. Just endless tears.
3. Papa's Got a Brand New Excuse/Fresh Prince of Bel-Air: Ben Vereen plays the absentee father to perfection, and Will's "Why don't he love me, man?" at then end as he sobs in Uncle Phil's arms is totally heartwrenching.
4. The Message/ Firefly: Tracey's last few moments when he's telling Mal, "When you can't run anymore, you crawl, and when you can't do that...."
"You get someone to carry you." Gets me right there, he was such a dumbass.
5. The Gamesters of Triskelion/ Star Trek: I know, I'm pathetic, but when Shawna looks up at the end after Kirk leaves her there and says, "I'll look up at the stars, and remember...." I bawl. Sad.
6. Hitting Bottom/ Party of 5: Bailey in Sarah's room with "This Woman's Work" playing in the background and him crying and saying, "Will you help me?" Gets me every time.
7. Any ep of Little House on the Prairie, pretty much. They're all very sappy.
8. Out of Gas/ Firefly: When Mal is dozing off at the end and he says, "You're all going to be here when I wake up, right?", and it goes back to the first time he sees Serenity, I sob.
9. Isaac and Ishmael/ The West Wing: various parts of this excellent ep. including Abby's explanation of the story of Isaac and Ishmael. Teary throughout most of the show.
10: Reunion/ Star Trek: TNG: When K'Ehleyr is killed by Duras and found by Worf and Alexander, he scares the shit out of his son by doing that Klingon death scream thing, then he asks him, "You've never seen death before?" and when Alexander shakes his head, he turns him to face her body and says, "Then look, and never forget!" I bawl at that moment; and I also feel so sorry for the poor little Alexander.
