Day off.....finally...
Jul. 20th, 2006 10:26 pmSo today was my day off, so at 8:30 am I went and got my nails done, then went to Nutter's to pick up some sunflower seeds etc. for Prairie Honey muffins. Then I took Victoria out and about to look for a job. We had supper late and then I sat outside with my neighbours for awhile.
I also had a massage today. That was awesome. I love lying there getting rubbed with oil. whoo!
Bought tickets for Clerks 2 for tomorrow night too. Got to love Jay and Silent Bob!
I posted a new fic chapter on
jakeslash for the lovely
lovehurts4ever to help her recuperate. I'm having a lot of fun with this. Just wish I had more time because usually I'm too rushed to do much writing.
I'm getting a little crabby about working on my summer holidays. I mean, I know it's necessary and all, but still. I work in a fairly stressful job all school year and now, when rest would be kind of nice, I'm working again. To feed a fifteen year old who can't even come home to babysit her brother because it may interfere with her social life and a ten year old who just want 'more' of everything!
I guess I'm just tired, and I'm bitter because no one cares that I'm tired. How pathetic does that sound? Pretty pathetic. Pity me, pity me.
What a victim. (smacks self upside the head a few times.)
Okay, I'm better now. Gwen called to say that Erick and her and the kids are coming home next week for a week. I already knew because Erick e-mailed Joan to discuss setting up a surprise birthday party for her next Saturday, but it was nice to hear from her just the same. I am looking forward to next week.
