This has been a freakin' brutal day!
1. The funeral: we were later than we planned(see #2) so we sat in a side chapel where the only people we could see were the family. Great. Watching everybody cry was not helpful to me as I tried to staunch my own tears. Bren said she liked being able to see us though so.
2. Car: broke down right before the funeral so Sheri had to pick me up at Canadian Tire which has called to tell me that at the least my car is going to cost me $400 to fix. Great.
3. Death: it occured to me and I shared with Sheri my thoughts that this is the 3rd funeral for someone's parent I've gone to this year. "Is this how it's going to be for the next 20 years?" I asked. "Going to everyone's parents funerals until ours' start?"
"Yes, that's exactly how it's going to be." Sheri answered. Comforting.
I know it's the whole 'circle of life' thing, but I hate seeing people hurting and not being able to do anything. Oh, well.
OF THE GOOD:
Christine left me her car keys, "In case you need to borrow my car..." she had said. I laughed and said, "Dude, I have a car."
Little did I know.....
Anyhow, that means I can get to work tomorrow, which is good.
Positive feedback on my first slash fic that I posted to

I'm glad people are so nice. I always try to be nice to theirs too, after all, it's not easy to write that stuff. Well, not for me anyways.
Hopefully work tomorrow will go quickly. It made me tired, all that moving stuff back and forth for 8 hours yesterday. I think I'm more out of shape than I thought. Once the store is up and going it should be fun though.
Kids are back tomorrow. They're in Banff today. I told Tori, "Two words, candy store!"
