Jan. 27th, 2003 06:49 pmSchool was good. Student teacher from U of L there today too so lot's of help. Nice. And I did my first lesson plan for Kristin. It went well, I think.
I'm tired though. Ky went to Cal's after school to play, which is nice, because their a nice family and I like him to have some decent friends. But they live by the school, so after I came back from school I had to take Shane home, then come home and make supper. I was just going to do a little supper, but Shane said he was coming so I made a whole meal and a half, with bread in the maker and a cake etc. Then after I rush to get Ky and go to pick up Shane, he says he's not coming for supper after all because he has stuff to do at home. I lost it. Then he says, "It's not a big deal, don't freak."
So I didn't talk to him all the way home, or when I got out of the car. I forgot to push the seat back for him, and he yells, "Put the damn seat back!" and I just kept walking.
Blow me!
Then he calls 15 minutes later and says," I just wanted to call and say sorry for being an inconsiderate, selfish ass. I didn't mean to make you mad and I should've called. I hope I didn't ruin your supper. I love you."
So, hard to be mad after that. But it's just another reason to take a hard look at us. He knows I'm doing that too, so I think he's trying to be good.
