First Day....made it...
Jan. 13th, 2003 07:11 pmFirst day teacher assisting Grade One. Very different from junior high. VERY!!
Even the nasty children can still be intimidated, and I can be intimidating to younger children, just ask mine, or any of my friends' kids. I'm the one they use as a threat. "Behave or I'll send you to Aunt Nikki's for the weekend."
"NOOOO!! I'll be good!!!''
(Laughs evilly)
No, it was pretty good. My old friend Penny Ebner's mom works there, so does my Grandma's friend, Rochelle Yamagishi, who's husband is principal at the last school I was at. And the homeroom teacher I'm with seems very nice. I even know quite a few of the kid's parents or the kid's themselves.
I think that putting someone in an elementary practicum is a little evil after them being in a junior high one because they see how sweet it can be.
My sister is sick, again. Needs vitamins, or a transplanted immune system. One that works. Our family is the worst for allergies, asthma, hayfever, all that crap. It's annoying. We couldn't just all be skinny and wealthy or anything.
